Winc Academy

The role

At Winc Academy I mentored students working through full-stack development bootcamps, most of them career switchers taking on programming for the first time. Besides that I had the huge task of evaluating and overhauling the React courses.

What I did

• One-on-one mentorship guiding students through front-end and back-end assignments
• Code reviews with feedback aimed at understanding, not just fixing
• Evaluated and overhauled the two React courses, shaping how new developers learn the framework
• Helped students over the wall that every beginner hits: from "it works" to "I know why it works"

Why it matters

I believe sharing knowledge makes for stronger projects, and stronger developers. Teaching forces you to truly understand what you build, and that clarity flows straight back into my client work.
